Do you build e-commerce on platforms other than Shopify?
No. I only build e-commerce on Shopify. It's the market leader, trusted by millions, and handles everything you need. For simple payments on a few products, I use Stripe checkout instead.
What's the difference between Stripe payments and Shopify?
Stripe is for simple, occasional sales - a few static products or services. It doesn't include customer accounts, order history, discount codes, shopping carts, or inventory management. Each product is purchased separately. Shopify is for full e-commerce - product catalogues, cart, checkout, customer accounts, order history, discount codes, inventory, and all the features you need for serious selling.
Can you improve my existing Shopify store?
Yes. See my Shopify support page for performance, accessibility, and UX improvements on existing stores.
Do you handle product photography or descriptions?
You provide product images. I provide basic guidance on product descriptions, but full copywriting is a separate service.
What about inventory management?
You manage stock levels and fulfillment. I set up the store structure and help with initial product setup, but ongoing inventory management is your responsibility.
Can I add products myself after launch?
Yes. Shopify makes it easy to add and manage products. I'll show you how during handover. If you need help with bulk imports or complex setups, that's quoted separately.
Do you set up email marketing or ads?
Store setup includes basic email confirmation templates. Email marketing campaigns, ads, and promotions are separate services.
How long does a Shopify store take to build?
It depends on catalogue size, custom features, and content readiness. Small stores (up to 20 products) typically take 3-4 weeks. Larger stores with custom features take longer.
