Helping People, Not Just Building Websites
Here's how you can get involved, save some money, or help support a charity in the process.
1. Referral thank-you scheme
Know someone who needs a website? Send them my way. If they book a project, you'll get:
- £50 off your next bit of work with me, or
- £50 donated to a charity of your choice
No catch - just a thank you for helping me out and helping someone else get a proper website.
“Phil did a remarkable job, and continues to do so - and I have never looked back!”
2. Charity & good cause discounts
When I built the National Pug Protection Trust website for free, I realised I wanted to do more like that - but in a way that still keeps me afloat. So I now offer the following discounts:
- 50% off for registered charities
- Up to 25% off for anyone doing meaningful or socially useful work: Community groups, social causes, creative projects, or people helping others
“Your dedication, creativity, and hard work have truly transformed our online presence. The new website is not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly.”
Not sure if that includes you? Just ask. I'm not rigid about it - if you're doing something good, I'll try to help.
How to Get Involved
- Want to refer someone? Point them to Crayons and Code and ask them to mention your name.
- Running something for a good cause? Get in touch, tell me a bit about what you're doing, and we'll work out what's possible.
Let's Do Some Good
I'm a solo developer trying to work with people who care - and if I can make things a bit more affordable or pass some good on, all the better.
