Lightning talks: Accessibility

Short, practical lightning talks on accessibility. Colour contrast, slide decks, images, hyperlinks, testing basics, WCAG 2.2, and more.

Small. Sharp. Useful. Short talks on accessibility - real examples, clear principles, and stuff you can use straight away. Each talk runs roughly 10-30 minutes depending on topic and Q&A.

What lightning talks are there?

  • Colour Contrast
  • Accessible Slide Decks
  • Accessible Images
  • Accessible Hyperlinks
  • Accessibility Testing Basics
  • WCAG 2.2
  • More soon, or request a topic!

Who are they for?

  • Developers - front-end, full-stack or back-end, at any level
  • Designers - especially those working on UI, UX or digital products
  • Content creators - from editors to strategists, anyone publishing online
  • Product managers - balancing features, deadlines and user needs
  • QA and accessibility testers - ensuring things work as intended for everyone
  • Anyone working in digital - because accessibility is everyone's responsibility

My talks are open to all experience levels, and all job roles, but they're especially useful if you think you've already got everything covered.

  • Yorkshire-based but I'll travel if the event feels right and the location is do-able. And if there's good pizza/burgers and a captive audience.
