This page covers the basic terms for using this website. If you hire me for a project, you will get a separate project agreement that covers scope, fees, timelines and deliverables. Any contract for paid work is with Thoughtcube Limited.

Who we are

This website is run by Thoughtcube Limited (trading as Crayons and Code and Shffld). Thoughtcube Limited is a company registered in England and Wales.

Using this website

You are welcome to browse, share links, and get in touch. Please don’t attempt to break the site, scrape it aggressively, or do anything that makes life worse for other people using it.

Content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content on this site (text, design, code snippets, images and branding) is owned by Thoughtcube Limited or licensed to Thoughtcube Limited. You may share links and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy substantial parts of the site or reuse the design as-is without permission.

External links

Sometimes I link to other websites. I’m not responsible for their content, policies, or anything else they get up to.

Availability and accuracy

I do my best to keep this site accurate and available, but I can’t guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly up to date. Content may change without notice.

Working together (projects)

If you enquire about work, I may suggest a call and then provide a short project agreement before anything starts.

That agreement will contain the details that actually matter: what’s included, what’s not, costs, payment schedule, timelines, and how changes are handled.

Privacy

For details on what personal data is collected (for example when you submit a form) and how it’s handled, please see the Privacy and cookie policy page.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, this website is provided on an “as is” basis and you use it at your own risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
